Since 2008, Digicom’s Lift Business Unit has been developing solutions for elevators and escalators: connected devices, sensors, dedicated algorithms and Cloud services. Alarm dialers, gateways, routers, sensors, Cloud and App form a single ecosystem in which all devices communicate with one another, for maximum efficiency and predictive maintenance. With the new 4G DIALER EVO platform, voice, data, power and signaling travel over a single 2-wire digital bus. All alarm dialers comply with the EN 81-28 standard.

Predictive monitoring for escalators
The Look@INDUSTRY sensor, with a 3-axis accelerometer, is installed on motors and gearboxes and detects changes or anomalies compared to normal operation. The data reaches Look@CLOUD through the 4G LIFTGATE gateways: faults are spotted before they stop the system.

Look@CLOUD is Digicom’s Device Management platform: it monitors installations and connections, detects anomalies and manages alarms, checks battery status, updates firmware and configures devices remotely. Through APIs, data flows into customers’ and partners’ systems; the CMMS module manages scheduled maintenance and work orders, including with SAP®.
